Job: Community Care Assistant
Location: East Belfast
Pay Rate: £13.83 ph
Job Type: Full or Part-time
Shifts: Days and/or Evenings
Role: Permanent

Role:
As a Community Carer, you will support our clients in their own homes. You will work within one location/area, on either single or double runs. We have two shifts, day and evening (times detailed at the bottom), we will give you a contract with guaranteed hours, and you select how many shifts you can fulfil each week.
Essential Criteria
- No experience is needed as we provide you with all training. However, you must meet the below criteria:
- Have a full driver’s licence with access to a car & car insurance in connection with business
- Have a desire to care for people in their own homes
- A mobile phone
Your Role
- Provide personal care in clients’ homes (washing, dressing/undressing)
- Prepare snacks and refreshments
- Prompt or administer medication
- Use approved equipment (hoists, slide sheets) for safe assistance
- Offer practical support (light cleaning, shopping, laundry)
- Promote clients’ independence, choice, rights, and dignity
Additional Details:
Shift Patterns
Day Shift: 7am – 6pm
Evening Shift: 6pm – 11pm
* to provide adequate care for our clients, you should be available to complete a full shift. Please note this role requires you to be available to work weekday and weekend shifts.
We will discuss with you at your interview whether you can do day or evening shifts or if you would like a mixture of both throughout your week.
