An experienced and dedicated Registered Manager is sought to lead existing Dual solo and four Bedded homes in Nuneaton and Bedworth. The role involves ensuring compliance with Ofsted regulations, leading a team, developing care plans, and managing resources.

About the Team:
Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of children and young people? We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Manager to lead our existing Dual solo and four Bedded homes in Nuneaton and Bedworth. Currently rated Good with Ofsted. They are providing high-quality care and support for children who are in care.

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, highly motivated, experienced individual, who has the appropriate skills to continue leading our therapeutic approach, supporting the development and improvement of child focussed practice in the homes.
You will be well supported by a visible, engaged and committed leadership team and alongside the Responsible individual will lead and develop a residential team and be a key member of the wider service delivery and development plan.
The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate an excellent understanding of the needs of young people in care. They should have extensive knowledge and understanding of the Children’s Homes (England) Regulations 2015, the Guide to the Quality Standards, Ofsted’s Social Care Common Inspection Framework (SCCIF) and other relevant statutory legislation, guidance, and good practice.

About the Role:
As the Registered Manager, you will:
- Take full responsibility for the day-to-day running of the home.
- Ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations and all relevant legislation.
- Lead and inspire a team to deliver outstanding care and therapeutic support.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans that promote stability and positive outcomes.
- Manage budgets, staffing, and resources effectively.
Key Requirements:
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or willingness to work towards).
- Proven experience managing a children’s residential home.
- Strong knowledge of Children’s Homes Regulations, safeguarding, and Ofsted standards.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- A commitment to creating a safe, nurturing environment where children can thrive.
Key responsibilities:
- Effective leadership and management of the home and takes the leading role in key decisions; to include chairing meetings and advocacy skills.
- Ensuring that the home meets Ofsted standards of quality and safety.
- Knowledge of the legislative requirements pertaining to high quality care for young people in a residential setting.
- Develop a positive person-centred culture in the home using a model of Restorative Practice.
- Contribute positively to the welfare and wellbeing of young people providing them with a safe, nurturing, stable home where their needs can be fully met, and they are encouraged to seek their aspirations and reach their full potential.
- Ability to communicate effectively and positively with young people, colleagues, and other professional workers through a wide variety of media which will include written, verbal and electronic means.
- Contribute to the development of appropriate relationships with and between staff, young people, families, and other stakeholders, promoting the children and young people's involvement and participation in the day-to-day life of the Home and local community.
- Liaise with the various internal and external multi-disciplinary teams to ensure that the care needs of new and existing young people are met.
