The Role:

  • Supporting children with disability.
  • Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of young people and build meaningful relationships with children, young people and their families.
  • Providing a nurturing and stable environment for children who may have experienced instability and disruptions in their lives.
  • Encouraging the development of social skills and positive relationships among the children in their care.
  • Collaborating with other professionals, such as social workers and health care professionals, to provide the best possible care for young people.
  • Ensuring that the residential care setting is clean, safe, and appropriate for young people’s needs.
  • Support Children to reach their goals and develop new skills.
