FULL DESCRIPTION

Job Title: Clerk to Governors

Salary: Scale 4 (7-11) £2037.10 - £2171 (This is an hourly rate of between £15.67 and £16.70)

Hours: 130 hours (over 38 weeks). This averages at 3.5 hours per week but dependent on meetings and commitments, may be more or less than this each week. Meetings are scheduled at the beginning of each academic year.

We are looking to appoint an experienced Clerk to Governors to provide an efficient and effective administrative support to the Governing Body in their important role.  As Clerk, you will play a key part in ensuring the Governing body is focused on their governance role which is to support the school in delivering a high-quality curriculum to all our students. The successful candidate will be reliable, highly organised, provide attention to detail and have excellent communication skills.   Due to the nature of the work, the role requires flexibility during term time and the successful candidate will work both in school and from home according to the demands of the role.
