Contract – Permanent, Full Time

Pay Scale Points 11-23 (£28,142 - £34,434) plus SEN (£2,787)

Start date – As soon as possible

Mary Elliot Academy is a school for students aged 11–18 years with severe and profound learning difficulties. We are part of Thrive Education Partnership, a specialist multi-academy trust committed to providing the very best outcomes for students with a range of special educational needs.

The Academy is looking for an outstanding SEND Instructor, ideally with experience of SLD, ASC, PMLD or Post-16, who is aspirational, enthusiastic, creative, caring and committed to the delivery of high-quality education within our academy. The successful candidate will provide excellent teaching and learning, alongside securing the welfare and personal development of our young people. The duties outlined in the attached job description are in addition to those covered by the latest School Teachers’ Pay and Conditions Document.
