[Employer hidden] Nursery has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Early Years Practitioner to join them in September. Candidates must hold a full and relevant Early Years qualification at Level 2 or above, with a Level 3 qualification strongly preferred.

[Employer hidden] was awarded an outstanding judgement during their last Ofsted inspection in April 2024. The Nursery is based on Leasowes Primary School site. Our impressive Early Years provision provides the foundations that encourage children to embrace a life-long love of learning, igniting curiosity and creating thinkers of the future. We strive for high-standards and develop strong values that enable children to thrive and reach their full potential.

We have a knowledgeable and dedicated team who get to know every child, planning bespoke experiences that link to lines of enquiry and children’s interests. Our children are nurtured so they become confident and independent learners who are able to foster good relationships.

At [Employer hidden], we pride ourselves on creating a safe, inclusive and enjoyable place to play and learn. Our ambitious curriculum enables children to become confident communicators and powerful learners. We believe communication and language is fundamental to academic achievement; therefore, we use Makaton to support the development of spoken language, giving every child a voice. Our curriculum brings learning to life, making it purposeful so that skills are transferrable, as well as allowing children to be imaginative and creative through play.

Our impressive outdoor provision and access to forest areas makes every opportunity a learning experience, with environments that enable all children to thrive. Through a range of opportunities linked to our themes, children are able to explore, become active learners and critical thinkers.   The successful candidate will work under the supervision of the Nursery Lead Practitioner. We are looking to employ someone who has the skills, experience and motivation to help plan and deliver creative activities that fully engage and stimulate children’s learning and development. Someone who is committed to providing the very best outcomes for children, has the drive to continually improve and evolve their practice and have a positive impact on our setting.

In return we are offering a competitive salary, a contributory pension scheme and a wonderful, engaging nursery environment to work in.
