Job Details

[Employer hidden] is seeking to appoint a highly organised, friendly and efficient Administrative Assistant to join our school office team. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day running of the school office and will often be the first point of contact for parents, visitors and staff. We are looking for someone who is professional, approachable and able to manage a range of administrative tasks in a busy school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To provide administrative support to the school leadership and office team
  • Act as a first point of contact for parents, visitors and telephone enquiries
  • Maintain accurate pupil records and school databases
  • Support attendance, communication and general office systems
  • Assist with school communications, letters and correspondence
  • Support the wider school team with administrative tasks as required

  • Have strong organisational and administrative skills
  • Be confident using IT systems and Microsoft Office applications
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Be able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
