Are you passionate about transforming the lives of pupils with social, emotional and mental health needs?
St John’s Middle School is seeking a committed and resilient Alternative Provision Base Lead to establish and lead our new internal provision for pupils requiring behavioural and emotional support.
This is a rare opportunity to build a provision from the ground up, shaping its vision, systems, and curriculum to meet the needs of vulnerable learners.
What you’ll do:
- Lead and manage a specialist SEMH provision
- Deliver bespoke learning for small groups and individuals
- Support pupils’ emotional regulation and behaviour recovery
- Work closely with staff, families, and external agencies
- Reintegration planning into mainstream classrooms
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has experience in SEMH or alternative provision
- Is calm, resilient, and highly relational
- Can design and adapt personalised learning approaches
- Has strong behaviour management expertise
- Is passionate about inclusion and pupil success

Salary: Point: 1 to Point 6 Dependant on experience (£22,601 - £35,259 FTE)
