Teaching Assistants (Level 2 and Level 3)

Various roles – Fixed Term Contracts until August 2027
Hours: Full-time and part-time positions available

Grade 3 / Grade 4 – pro rata, term time only

Field View Primary School is a welcoming and inclusive school with a strong commitment to meeting the needs of all learners. We are seeking to appoint a number of enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants (Level 2 and Level 3) to join our team on a fixed term basis until August 2027.

These roles will support pupils across the school, helping them to access learning, develop independence and achieve their full potential.

The roles will include:

  • Supporting pupils in class, individually and in small groups
  • Supporting pupils with SEND and additional needs
  • Delivering or supporting intervention programmes
  • Promoting positive behaviour, engagement and independence
  • Working closely with teachers and other staff to support pupil progress
  • Contributing to a safe, inclusive and purposeful learning environment

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has experience of working with children in a primary setting
  • Is committed to supporting pupils to make progress and achieve their best
  • Has strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Is patient, flexible and able to build positive relationships
  • Demonstrates a commitment to inclusive practice

Visits to the school are essential. Observations will take place week beginning 27th April as part of the selection process.

All posts are subject to an enhanced DBS disclosure, Barred List Checks, along with other relevant pre-employment checks. Enhanced DBS disclosures will be renewed at least every five years.
