We are delighted to advertise an exciting internal opportunity for a Chef Manager at [Employer hidden]. This role is ideal for an experienced catering professional who is passionate about delivering high-quality, nutritious meals while leading a small kitchen team in a busy school environment. The Chef Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the academy kitchen, ensuring the delivery of excellent food, high standards of hygiene, and an efficient catering service for students and staff. The successful candidate will combine strong culinary skills with effective team leadership and organisational ability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the school kitchen and catering service
  • Plan and prepare healthy, appealing menus that meet school food standards
  • Manage food ordering, stock control, and kitchen budgets
  • Ensure the highest standards of food hygiene, safety, and compliance
  • Lead, motivate, and develop the catering team
  • Promote a positive dining experience for students and staff
