We are seeking to appoint a Level 2 Teaching Assistant who is committed, enthusiastic and flexible to support our pupils. Core Purpose: To work under the specific supervision, instruction and guidance of the class teacher and/or SENDCO to support effective teaching and learning opportunities in the classroom.
Job Details
33 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 3.35pm. Fixed term contract for 1 year. Required as soon as possible.
We are seeking to appoint a Level 2 Teaching Assistant who is committed, enthusiastic and flexible to support our pupils.
Core Purpose:
- To work under the specific supervision, instruction and guidance of the class teacher and/or SENDCO to support effective teaching and learning opportunities in the classroom.
- To provide general support to the class teacher in the organisation and management of pupils and the classroom.
- To assist the teacher in creating and maintaining a purposeful, orderly and supportive learning environment which includes managing equipment including pupil communication systems.
- To promote the inclusion of all pupils, ensuring they have equal opportunities to learn and develop.
- To be responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young people within the school.
