FULL DESCRIPTION

We are seeking to appoint a Level 2 Teaching Assistant who is committed, enthusiastic and flexible to support our pupils. Core Purpose: To work under the specific supervision, instruction and guidance of the class teacher and/or SENDCO to support effective teaching and learning opportunities in the classroom.

Job Details

33 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 3.35pm. Fixed term contract for 1 year. Required as soon as possible.

We are seeking to appoint a Level 2 Teaching Assistant who is committed, enthusiastic and flexible to support our pupils.

Core Purpose:

To work under the specific supervision, instruction and guidance of the class teacher and/or SENDCO to support effective teaching and learning opportunities in the classroom.
To provide general support to the class teacher in the organisation and management of pupils and the classroom.
To assist the teacher in creating and maintaining a purposeful, orderly and supportive learning environment which includes managing equipment including pupil communication systems.
To promote the inclusion of all pupils, ensuring they have equal opportunities to learn and develop.
To be responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young people within the school.
