This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated, experienced and enthusiastic teacher to take on a leadership role within the Science department at [Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk]. The successful candidate will support the Head of Science with the leadership and management of the range of specialisms covered, with a particular responsibility for leading Key Stage 3. For a suitably qualified candidate there may be an opportunity to take on further responsibility with an additional payment of £1200 as Acting Head of Department one day per week.
We are looking for an exceptional practitioner with experience in subject leadership. The successful candidate will have a pro-active approach and excellent communication skills. As Second in Science they will have a strategic role in working alongside the Head of Science to shape the development of teaching and learning across the department in order to maximise achievement.
