About the role

Do you want to make a difference? You have an exciting opportunity to be part of our Regulatory Services section within the Environmental Health Team. You will be part of a team delivering a quality service on issues that are often complex and can have a negative impact on quality of life.

As part of the Environmental Health Team, you will also be involved in their wider services provided by the team including air quality, nuisance, LA-PPC, and consultations on planning and contaminated land. Qualified Environmental Protection Officers will also be expected to deputise and support the management functions of the Environmental Health Team Leader.

About you

We are looking for a highly motivated and professional Environmental Protection Officer. You will have excellent administration, communication and IT skills, with an attention to detail and ability to tackle issues holistically.

Whether you are a qualified and experienced officer already working across these disciplines or consider yourself a specialist qualified and experienced in one aspect, but aspire to widening your knowledge and expertise, this post gives you an opportunity to make a really positive impact.

A Full Driving license is required
