Job Details
[Employer hidden] is a values-driven charity supporting individuals to live more independent, fulfilling lives. We are seeking an experienced Head of Finance to lead all aspects of our financial management, providing strategic insight, ensuring compliance, and supporting decision-making at Senior Leadership Team and Board level.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and medium- to long-term financial planning
- Prepare monthly management accounts and reports for SLT, trustees, and budget holders
- Manage payroll, pensions, and the Finance Officer team
- Oversee financial controls, audit processes, and regulatory compliance
- Advise on risks, opportunities, and funding/project appraisals
- Continuously improve financial systems and reporting
About You:
- Experienced in financial management, ideally in the charity or not-for-profit sector
- Skilled in management accounts, budgeting, and reporting
- Strong knowledge of compliance and audit processes
- Effective communicator, able to work with senior leaders and trustees
