About the Roles:
Our teaching staff, the children, staff and governors of this happy and successful Infant and Nursery School wish to appoint two experienced class teachers from September 2026 to enhance our busy, nurturing and supportive school.
We are seeking to appoint either an Early Years Foundation Stage teacher or a KS1 teacher as a Permanent Post, depending on the strength of the successful candidate.
We already have a committed team of teaching and non-teaching staff and are keen to recruit someone with a love of life and learning and a great sense of humour!
We are looking for hard-working practitioners who are passionate about achieving good outcomes for all our children. The successful applicants will be resilient and great team players. They will be committed to providing the very best for the children in our school and for the local community that we serve.
We are a caring two-form entry Infant School. By having our own pre-school it has enabled us at Cedars to provide a full all-round nurturing, stimulating and educational environment for children from the age of 2yrs all the way through to the end of Y2.
We have an inclusive, nurturing ethos, within calm, attachment aware and trauma informed settings. All adults in our school treat each other and children with respect and kindness. We are committed to the emotional, as well as the academic, development of all our children, with SEMH being a high priority across the school, running through the very veins of our settings. The mental health and well-being of both children, staff and parents is a constant driving force at Cedars.
We pride ourselves on the high quality, individualised CPD that we offer our staff across the school and preschool, with many internal promotions. (Including two of our TAs becoming teachers at our school)
Questionnaires demonstrate that our community and other external professionals speak highly of the school and the staff and we benefit from a committed, supportive Governing Board. Many parents state that in order to improve Cedars we would also have a KS2 provision!
Well-Being of staff is a priority using a Well-Being Voucher system to support staff and reward longevity of service.
Our successful applicant will also teach and support children's development and learning from an Attachment and Trauma Informed basis.
These roles will be subject to a successful 6mth probationary period, to those new to Warwickshire.
Key Requirements: -
- At least a developing understanding of, and commitment to Attachment and Trauma practice.
- High ambitions for yourself as a developing practitioner and a commitment to provide every child with the best possible start in life

• The ability to work as part of a team to plan, teach and assess effectively for the next steps in children’s learning
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a commitment to developing and maintaining close links with the whole community
