Job Details

Hours: 37 hours per week (flexitime)

Salary: £8.00 per hour initial apprentice rate

As an HR Administration apprentice, you will deliver comprehensive administration support for the HR service (including Health and Safety as appropriate), maintaining a customer focused approach and ensuring data is kept up to date and accurate in a timely manner.

You should be able to effectively manage a varied workload with conflicting priorities and interruptions, whilst ensuring accuracy and timeliness in maintaining the HR system.

You must also be IT literate with good Microsoft Office skills and be able to produce written material to a high standard as well as good maths understanding to assist with numbers-based calculations.

You will also possess excellent interpersonal skills and be able to positively engage with employees, managers and external contacts on a range of matters whilst maintaining confidentiality.

Depending on your interests and long-term career goals, you will have the opportunity to work towards the Level 3 Business Administrator apprenticeship or the CIPD Level 3 Foundation Certificate in People Practice, making this the ideal role for someone interested in an HR career, with motivation to learn how people processes operate within a professional environment.
