This post is office based at the Hollies Contact Centre, Smethwick
12 months fixed term contract
Sandwell Children’s Trust has a 12-months fixed term contract for a Service Support Officer based at the Hollies Contact Centre, to provide Business Admin Support throughout the service.The role is to support a busy Family Centre with all aspects of administration. The role includes reception duties, greeting visitors face to face, call handling and message taking, dealing with incoming and outgoing post, issuing and maintaining petty cash, managing shared inboxes and dealing with requests from Family Support Workers.You will be responsible for supporting new employees with the use of equipment and using the in-house Children’s system to obtain information and uploading documents to Children’s records.
About you:
- Will hold NVQ Level 2 in Business Administration or equivalent.
- Be able to demonstrate previous experience of working in a business admin role
- You need to be IT literate with experience of using Microsoft Office packages.
- Have good communication and telephone skills.
- Have good organisational skills and ability to prioritise your own workload.
- You must also be able to work independently and work well as part of a team.
