Are you an inspiring and enthusiastic teacher with a passion for improving outcomes for children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)? Do you have the skills and commitment to empower schools to support learners with a diverse range of needs? If so, we would be pleased to hear from you.
We are seeking an exceptional teacher to join our Specialist Teaching Service within [Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk]. This role focuses on providing high-quality assessment and evidence-based advice and support that enhances educational provision and promotes positive outcomes for children and young people with SEND.
As a Specialist Teacher (Learning Support), you will work at both individual and whole-school levels, supporting settings to increase their capacity, confidence and skill in meeting a wide range of learning needs. You will manage a multi-age caseload, undertake detailed assessments, contribute to statutory processes, and offer specialist teaching and interventions where appropriate.
Applications are particularly welcome from Level 7 qualified Dyslexia and/or Dyscalculia assessors.
You will work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, support staff, families, and a range of professionals to ensure a cohesive, child-centred approach. Confidence in delivering training and engaging in constructively challenging conversations is essential.
