This a new role for Redditch Borough Council combining housing application registrations together with the allocation and letting of social housing to create a new team  It is an exciting opportunity for someone with senior housing registration experience who is confident in leading a new team in the management of the processes from  the registration of applications through to advertisement and the allocation of accommodation.

Key Requirements

Professionally and compliantly deliver the Council's Housing Register and the Choice Based Letting system for the Borough in accordance with the Allocations Policy, associated legislation & regulatory frameworks

To be responsible for the day to day leadership and the line management of the Registration and Allocation Advisors

To provide an outstanding customer service to our all customers

Skills & experience

Previous experience in assessing housing applications and working with choice based letting systems

Previous experience in a senior or management role

Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Confident in communication with applicants, internal teams, eternal partners and elected members
