The Cover Manager plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth daily operation of the school by coordinating staff cover arrangements in the absence of teaching staff. The successful candidate will work closely with senior leaders, teaching staff and administrative teams to ensure lessons are appropriately covered and that disruption to students’ learning is minimised.
Hours for this role is 7.30am - 1.30pm Monday - Friday

Key Responsibilities
- Liaise with supply agencies where required to secure external cover staff
- Communicate cover arrangements effectively to staff each day
- Maintain accurate records of staff absences and cover provided
- Organise and manage daily staff cover arrangements for teaching and support staff absences
- Maintain and update the cover timetable using the academy’s management information systems
- Support wider administrative and operational functions of the academy where required
