Are you passionate about making a difference to children’s lives and supporting families to overcome barriers to learning?  Ocker Hill Infant and Nursery School is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Family and Attendance Support Worker to join our outstanding, inclusive team.

As part of our commitment to supporting children and families we are looking for someone to:

  • Work closely with the Head Teacher and Business Manager to improve pupil attendance and engagement
  • Deliver tailored support packages for children and families facing a range of challenges
  • Act as an Assistant Designated Safeguarding Lead, contributing to our safeguarding team
  • Provide practical help and support to families including making requests for additional support
  • Build positive relationships with children, families and external agencies.
  • Bring a positive, proactive and passionate approach to their work

This is a permanent role which is part-time, term-time only plus one week training days.   The salary grading is Band D. The hours of work are Monday to Friday, 8.15 am to 3:30 pm. 3 Days per week.
