About Us
We are a Multi Academy Trust comprising of six secondary schools and one primary school with over 750 employees and over 5,500 students, based in Dudley, West Midlands.
[Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] are recruiting for a Lettings Assistant on a casual contract. Although hours are not guaranteed due to the casual nature of this role, we are likely to require hours to be worked between 8.00am – 2.30pm on Saturdays and Sundays. Flexibility to cover other Lettings staff during absence and holidays will be required.
Our lettings operate within the following hours:
Monday – 3.30pm until 10.00pm
Tuesday – 3.30pm until 10.00pm
Wednesday - 3.30pm until 10.00pm
Thursday - 3.30pm until 10.00pm
Friday - 3.30pm until 10.00pm
Saturday – 8.00am – 4.00pm
Sunday – 8.00am – 4.00pm
The successful candidate will be working with the Lettings Officer to manage the day-to-day delivery of Facilities Hire. To undertake day to day work associated with the sports activity programmes and general maintenance / care of all equipment and facilities at the School.
Experience and Skills
- An understanding of sports, leisure/recreation and the associated user groups. To have a polite, friendly, professional, respectful and flexible approach to work and to be customer focused Demonstrate good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team. Be flexible regarding working hours and demonstrate punctuality, excellent attendance and reliability. Be enthusiastic in the promotion of standards of Health & Safety and cleanliness within and the grounds of the letting facilities and school site.
You will need to be:
- To be reliable, punctual and have excellent attendance Possess a flexible and adaptable approach to working patterns and job task Observe safe working practices in carrying out the required duties.
The successful candidate will be working with the Site Team to support the day-to-day delivery of Lettings and to undertake day to day work associated with the Lettings and general maintenance tasks of the school site.
Experience:
Previous experience of working in a school or education setting or a similar role would be desirable but not essential.
