River View Primary & Nursery School is located at the heart of Stapenhill in Burton on Trent. We are a two-form entry school with a nursery and specialist SEND hub on site. We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and skilled Phonics Lead to join our inclusive and welcoming school community.
Following a successful Ofsted inspection recognising our high expectations and strong outcomes, we are looking for an excellent classroom practitioner with a passion for early reading and phonics to lead and further develop high-quality phonics teaching across the school. We are an RWI school and currently support others school in the area.
The successful candidate will lead phonics provision, support and coach staff, monitor teaching and learning, analyse data, and ensure strong outcomes for all pupils, contributing to the wider development of literacy and school improvement.
