Location: Various – Dudley Register Office (Priory Hall), Stourbridge Registration Office (Thomas Robinson Building), Approved Premises and Registered Buildings within the Borough

The service is looking for registration assistants to join the team on casual contracts. You will be required to support the delivery of the ceremony programme by curating for ceremonies, assisting in the preparation for ceremonies and some office admin duties. You will be required to register marriages and civil partnerships and to provide non-statutory services to include naming and renewal of vows ceremonies.

The service currently operates from two locations across the borough, and you will be required to work from both locations as well as attending marriages/civil partnerships at approved premises and registered buildings located within the Borough.

You should have previous registration experience. A good standard of education is needed to include GCSE Maths and English at Grade C or above, or equivalent, as a minimum. Working in a very busy environment you will need excellent customer care skills and a keen eye for accuracy and attention to detail along with neat handwriting skills. The service requires flexible team players who are able to adapt to different roles and tasks to meet the changing demands of the service and an ability to work at short notice.
