About us

Our school is part of Unity MAT, which is a small, ambitious trust comprising of ourselves and two other similar special schools. Our collaborative working means that we have shared understanding of the challenges and issues that our schools face and can work together to find solutions. The schools are supported by a strong Core Team who provide dedicated support services across the Trust.
What we need
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and passionate teacher to join our friendly and ambitious school. Whilst prior/previous experience in SEND is advantageous we also recognise and welcome the transferable knowledge, skills and experience that mainstream practitioners can bring to the role. We are looking for candidates who are committed to making a significant difference in the lives of pupils with special educational needs.
The core purpose of your role will be:
• To provide a high-quality educational experience for all pupils
• To teach classes / groups of pupils ensuring that planning, preparation, recording, assessment and reporting meet their complex learning, personal and social needs.
• Maintain positive ethos and core values of the school
• Contribute to constructive team building amongst teaching staff, non-teaching staff, parents and carers.
