Installation Coordinator
The ROV Installation Coordinator supports the planning and execution of offshore ROV mobilisation, installation, and demobilisation activities. The role coordinates equipment, documentation, certification, logistics, and personnel mobilisation in line with project schedules, including crewing requests and offshore readiness.
- Coordinate and support offshore site surveys to enable effective pre-mobilisation planning of ROV systems.
- Coordinate engineering, technical documentation, and certification requirements to ensure ROV systems are compliant and ready for mobilisation and demobilisation.
- Plan, prepare, procure, and track installation consumables, spares, and equipment, ensuring availability in line with project schedules and load-out requirements.
- Assemble, maintain, and manage installation and demobilisation work packages, including procedures, equipment lists, logistics details, and certification documentation.
- Coordinate and monitor fabrication, modification, and repair activities required to support ROV system installation, working closely with workshops and suppliers.
- Collaborate with Service Excellence and workshop teams to track equipment progress, readiness, and status through maintenance and preparation phases.
- Raise, manage, and track Equipment Movement Requests (EMRs) and load-out lists, verifying weights, dimensions, certification, and completeness of all mobilised equipment.
- Provide project planning, scheduling, and progress tracking, including procurement status, EMR progress, and installation activities using approved tracking tools (e.g. Smartsheet).
- Coordinate crewing requests and mobilisation planning in alignment with project schedules, PMT, and Service Excellence business lines.
- Support management during offshore installation activities, including interface management, issue resolution, and progress reporting as required.
- Liaise effectively with client representatives, project managers, certification authorities, logistics providers, and third-party suppliers involved in ROV mobilisation and installation.
- Maintain and regularly review ROV system specification sheets and technical records, ensuring accuracy and document control standards are upheld.
- Support project closeout activities, including cost tracking, PDR preparation, documentation handover, and lessons learned capture.
