FULL DESCRIPTION
Offshore Rig Electrician
WellGear are looking for a suitable candidate to join their fast growing and dynamic business. The Successful candidate will perform a vital role in the growth of a motivated close-knit team. The successful candidates’ role will be to perform maintenance duties on a wide variety of equipment. On a day-to-day basis the role will be maintaining a range of low and High voltage equipment, control systems and data acquisition systems. The right person must be self-motivated and enjoy working on such equipment.
- Maintenance and testing of all drilling related electrical systems
- Testing of data acquisition and measurement systems.
- Working with the maintenance management system
- Maintenance and control of the control systems on standalone hydraulic power packs and pumps.
- Carrying out periodic inspections
- Carrying out repairs
- Support with connecting systems on location
- Assisting in day-to-day operations on/offshore
