Description

The project: Opportunity to work within a life sciences programme, delivering critical national infrastructure for a central government client. We are looking for a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager to support in the delivery of secured projects within the programme of works. In the next year we will be supporting our client deliver an increase in volume of works in construction compared to previous years, with construction starting on new laboratory buildings. Note: This role will be based on our client’s site in Weybridge, Surrey minimum 3 days per week, and Moorgate London offices. This role will require the successful candidate to pass both BPSS and SC clearance.

You’ll Be Responsible For

  • Managing end‑to‑end project delivery, supporting senior leaders with timely, accurate outputs.
  • Managing budgets, risks, and functional development while upholding [Employer hidden] values.
  • Coordinating design, consultant, and project teams to meet milestones and drive best practice.
  • Managing end‑to‑end project delivery, coordinating design, consultant, and stakeholder teams to achieve programme milestones.
  • Managing project scope, budgets, risks, and change control to ensure successful, compliant outcomes.
  • Maintaining robust quality, safety, and governance standards aligned with [Employer hidden] values.
  • Providing technical leadership, reporting, and stakeholder communication to drive effective collaboration and delivery.

You’ll Need To Have

  • Professional membership (RICS, CIOB, APM, ICE) or equivalent development with experience delivering life‑science and cleanroom projects.
  • Proven capability managing design, delivery, licensing, and validation requirements.
  • Strong commercial, financial, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Extensive public‑sector project and programme delivery experience.
  • Management of the contractor through RIBA 5 design to deliver fully coordinated design whilst maintaining project schedules and budgets.
