We’re looking for an experienced Forklift Truck Driver to join the yard team at our Kings Langley branch. This is a fast-paced, practical role at the heart of our operation, supporting customers, suppliers and colleagues to keep everything running smoothly.

What you’ll be doing

  • Safely operating a forklift to pick, load and unload vehicles.
  • Assisting customers, suppliers and delivery drivers on site.
  • Picking orders manually and handling heavy materials where required.
  • Keeping the yard clean, organised and safe, with high standards of presentation.
  • Managing stock rotation and highlighting shortages or issues.
  • Carrying out daily checks on plant and machinery and reporting defects or H&S concerns.
  • Working closely with the wider yard team to maintain an efficient operation.

Requirements

What we’re looking for

  • Valid forklift licence and experience operating a forklift.
  • Previous experience working in a builders’ merchant environment.
  • Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling.
  • Good communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong awareness of safety procedures.
  • Eligible to work in the UK.
