We have an exciting opportunity for the role of Assistant Branch Manager, based within our Warrington Depot.

Job Description

As Assistant Manager you will assist with the day-to-day management of the branch, working alongside the Branch Manager you will be part of the management team helping driving forward the sales and profitability of the business. Your role will include developing and managing the rest of the team, ensuring the branch always operates in a professional manner – If you have what it takes, we will give you the opportunity to grow.

Qualities Required

  • Have good working knowledge of selling all types of building materials with the ability to trade and build strong relationships with customers.
  • Have a good awareness and understanding of the local market place and its competitors.
  • Have a positive attitude towards work with the ability to self-supervise and work flexibly to meet the needs of the depot.
  • Have a proven ability to motivate and develop employees and distribute work fairly.
  • The ability to maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards.
  • The ability to Follow all company HR and H&S policies and procedures.

Hours of work:

44.5 hours per week between 7.00 am and 5.30 pm Monday to Friday – 1 in 2 Saturday’s 8.00 am to 12.30pm.
