At the Glades, we believe that every person with a learning disability, physical disability or autism should be provided with the support they need to thrive. We are currently seeking passionate and enthusiastic Support Workers to work in our specialist nursing home, who have a genuine interest and passion in providing high quality care and enriching the lives of the people they support.
Responsibilities;
- Provide person-centred care and support tailored to individual needs - Build trusting relationships and support emotional and behavioural needs using Positive Behavioural Support (PBS) techniques - Provide support with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation and attending appointments - Support with day-to-day activities to ensure service users are able to participate in those they enjoy, make the most of every opportunity and enrich their lives
What we’re looking for;
- You will need to hold a L2 or L3 qualification in Health & Social Care or be willing to work towards this - Someone who is passionate about prviding person centred care - We need you to be positive in your approach, practive in your work, resilient and tenacious - Someone who is enthuastic, with an ongoing desire to learn and improve - You must have excellent teamwork and communication skills - Full driving license would be advantageous
