SENIOR IGA CONSULTANT - MIDPOINT

THE POSITION

We are looking for a Senior Identity Governance & Administration (IGA) Consultant with strong experience in MidPoint to join a growing European cybersecurity team delivering complex identity governance projects across the Netherlands and the Benelux region.

Due to increasing demand for open-source IGA solutions — driven by digital sovereignty initiatives and regulatory frameworks such as NIS2 — MidPoint has become a strategic priority.

This is a highly hands-on, client-facing role combining deep technical ownership with strong consultative skills.

You will work on end-to-end IGA implementations across government, academia, and large enterprise environments.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design, implement, and configure MidPoint IGA solutions
• Own the full technical lifecycle: setup, customisation, integration, testing, and go-live
• Build and optimise identity lifecycle processes (Joiner / Mover / Leaver)
• Implement access governance, approval workflows, recertifications, and SoD policies
• Integrate MidPoint with Active Directory, Entra ID, LDAP, HR systems, APIs, databases, and cloud services
• Develop connectors, scripts, workflows, and policies based on client requirements
• Troubleshoot and optimise complex production environments
• Lead client workshops and translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
• Support compliance-driven IAM initiatives (e.g., NIS2-aligned identity governance frameworks)

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Proven experience as an IGA / IAM Consultant, Engineer, or Architect
• Strong hands-on experience with MidPoint
• Experience with SailPoint or One Identity is considered transferable and highly valued
• Solid understanding of:
• Identity lifecycle management (JML)
• Roles & entitlements
• Segregation of Duties (SoD)
• Access reviews & governance controls
• Experience integrating IAM/IGA platforms with:
• Active Directory
• Entra ID / Azure AD
• LDAP
• HR systems
• APIs & databases
• Scripting and configuration experience (Java, Groovy, XML/JSON, REST, PowerShell)
• Experience working in complex enterprise environments
