Highly Attractive Remuneration & Rewards Package

The Firm:

A leading boutique investment banking and strategic advisory firm, our client has a proven track record of advising corporate clients, private equity sponsors, and institutional investors.

Providing M&A advisory and private capital solutions across a range of sectors, the firm is partner-led and execution-focused, combining senior-level origination expertise with a dedicated junior support team to deliver high-quality, client-driven outcomes.

The Opportunity:

This opportunity would be well suited to an entrepreneurial originator seeking greater autonomy, direct economics, and the ability to build or expand a coverage vertical within a focused independent platform.

The appointed Managing Director will be based at either our client’s New York or London location (although the firm is open to flexible or remote arrangements for the right candidate) and will assume responsibility for:

  • Leading sector coverage efforts and originating new business
  • Developing and maintaining senior-level client and sponsor relationships
  • Sourcing, executing, and closing M&A and capital advisory transactions
  • Providing strategic advisory across growth, monetization, and capital initiatives
  • Collaborating closely with partners and execution teams
  • Mentoring and supporting junior professionals involved in transactions

The Candidate:

The firm is ideally seeking individuals with specific TMT or digital infrastructure backgrounds but is equally open to hearing from senior professionals with established client relationships and a proven ability to independently source and lead transactions in adjacent verticals or sector specializations.  Key requirements are as follows:

  • 10+ years’ investment banking experience in M&A and/or capital advisory
  • A clear track record of transaction origination and revenue generation
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with strong commercial judgment
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to operate effectively within a performance-driven environment
  • FINRA licenses (or willingness to obtain if required)

This is a rare opportunity to take your career to the next stage with an organisation whose culture is collaborative, entrepreneurial, and performance-oriented, offering senior bankers the opportunity to operate with autonomy while benefiting from experienced peer support and institutional infrastructure.
