JOB TYPE: THIS IS A BANK POSITION TO COVER SICKNESS ABSENCE AND ANNUAL LEAVE.
SCHEDULE: Up to 16 hours per week.
To maintain high standards of presentation of all services within the Harestane Hydro Pool to defined standards. To ensure the safety of all users of the Hydro pool. To perform pool attendant duties. Must be able to work days, evenings and bank holidays as required. Uniform Provided.
- Presentation of all services within the hydro centre.
- General cleaning duties within in the hydro centre and surrounding areas.
- Poolside supervision of users to ensure a safe environment when needed.
- Assist with deliveries of good on site.
- Undertake duties with respect to events and functions layouts and supervision.
- To create a safe and hygienic environment within the place of work.
- To carry out 2 hourly pool water tests to ensure safe levels of chemicals at all times and take appropriate action in the event of an unsafe reading.
- Ensure all new visitors are aware of the emergency evacuation procedures should the fire alarm sound.
- To carry out a safe evacuation of the hydro centre should the fire alarm sound.
- To participate in continuous quality improvements initiatives.
- Assist with customer enquiries and ensure their safe and enjoyable participation of activities.
- The set up and storage of all equipment used on site.
- Any other duties appropriate to the position in consultation with Janice and Andy.
- Must attend Pool Attendant training as required-maintain competence at all times. (Provided by Employer)
- Plant room pool test to be completed every morning.
- Backwash to be completed after last client has vacated the pool.
- Full training will be given to successful candidate.
