Job description

We’re on the lookout for driven and organised graduates – or individuals at a similar level – who are keen to kick-start their career in sales. If you’re excited by the idea of building relationships, solving problems, and developing business across international markets, this could be your ideal opportunity.

This is an entry-level role with real scope to grow. You’ll gain first-hand experience across the full sales process – from prospecting and negotiation through to account management and business development. You’ll rotate across different areas of the sales floor, building a solid understanding of our operations before partnering with an experienced International Account Manager. Together, you’ll help manage and grow your shared territory by opening new business and strengthening existing customer relationships.

You’ll play a key role in matching our constantly evolving product range to our customers’ needs – helping them find the right products at the best possible value.

If you’re a confident communicator, a natural multi-tasker, and someone who enjoys taking initiative, we’d love to hear from you.

What you’ll be doing

  • Supporting an International Account Manager with day-to-day account management tasks
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships across a broad customer base
  • Helping to identify and secure new business opportunities
  • Researching customers and markets to inform your approach
  • Developing your commercial awareness and understanding of the FMCG sector
  • Regularly reporting to the Senior Sales Support team
  • Assisting with the coordination of UK and international travel
  • Meeting key performance indicators (KPIs), including daily call targets

What we’re looking for

Essential:

  • A strong interest in starting a career in FMCG sales
  • Enthusiastic, entrepreneurial mindset with a desire to learn
  • Target-driven and motivated by results
  • Commercial awareness and good judgement
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Confident, clear communication – both written and spoken
  • Methodical approach with strong attention to detail
  • Proactive attitude and willingness to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office

Desirable:

  • A degree in Business, International Business, Marketing, or a related field – helpful for understanding commercial principles.
  • Language skills or experience living/working abroad – a big plus but not essential.

What’s in it for you

  • Achievable sales bonus scheme – based on growing and nurturing accounts
  • Generous company-wide bonus scheme
  • Flexible and hybrid working options to support your work-life balance
  • Westfield Health Cash Plan to support your well-being
  • Discounts from hundreds of retailers
  • Volunteer day to support a charity of your choice
  • Enhanced employer pension contributions
  • A clear path for progression for those who are ambitious and ready to grow with us

If you’re ready to take your first steps into the world of sales with the backing of a supportive and ambitious team, we’d love to hear from you.
