Technical Systems Lead

Step into a high-impact role at [Employer hidden] as our Technical Systems Lead, where you will own the strategic direction and day-to-day reliability of the digital systems that underpin our work with children and young people. You will shape our systems roadmap, drive integration and optimisation across MIS, CRM, LMS and safeguarding platforms, and ensure our environment is secure, compliant and data-driven. Working closely with senior leaders and expert colleagues, you will be the go-to technical authority, empowering non-technical users to confidently leverage technology to improve outcomes across our organisation.

What are we looking for from you?

  • Core Qualifications: Degree (or equivalent experience) in IT, information systems, computer science, engineering, or a related field, Evidence of ongoing professional development in systems administration, cloud/SaaS platforms, data or digital transformation and desirable: relevant technical certifications (e.g. Microsoft, ITIL, project management).
  • Experience: Significant experience in managing and optimising business-critical systems in a multi-site or multi-service organisation, Experience providing technical leadership and guidance to non-technical users, Proven track record of supporting system selection, implementation and/or integration projects and experience in education, public sector or a regulated environment would be advantageous.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of cloud-based SaaS systems, user management, permissions and configuration, Good knowledge of data protection, information security and best practice in system governance.
