FULL DESCRIPTION

Store Operative

​Store Operative   Responsibilities: - To be able to complete basic store cleaning tasks. - To be able to complete basic store repairs, exp.: paint, use hammer drill, spanners. - To be able to collect and run Fruit SAMPLES. - To be able to organise the cleaning of stores and equipment. - Training provided to be able to use pressure washer, tower and scissor lift. - Training provided to understand the need of Air & CA Storage to maintain good quality fruit. - Training provided to be able to pressure test the stores. - Training provided to basic knowledge of store readings. - Training provided to be able to seal and Open Stores. Personal Qualities: - Enthusiasm, self-confidence and self-motivation. - Ability to work to tight deadlines. - Ability to work in a team - Ability to use initiative and be pro-active - Flexible approach to tasks undertaken and working hours Requirements: - Good communication skills - Proof of Right to work in the UK - Basic level of English - Understanding of Maths - Previous experience working within a similar role within the fruit industry - Driving Licence essential - Able to work some weekends by discussion - Start Time 6am - Pay Rate From; £13.43 -£15.16
