FULL DESCRIPTION

Occupational Therapist

Mildmay Oaks are looking for an occupational Therpaist to join the team on a full time basis working 37.5 hours per week. Mildmay Oaks offers a wide range of clinical experience within a supportive and well-established service. Although we are based in a more rural setting, this brings the benefit of a calm, therapeutic environment alongside excellent learning and development opportunities. We provide care across Low Secure Units (LSU), Locked Rehabilitation, and Bespoke Therapeutic Placements (BTPs), supporting adult male and female service users with mild to moderate learning disabilities and/or autism. Each ward has a distinct clinical focus and therapeutic approach, offering exposure to diverse models of care and intervention.

You will be part of a compassionate team who are committed to our patients wellbeing. We take a personalised approach, using proven therapies to help people move forward with confidence and build a healthier, more fulfilling future. You will play a key part in their recovery, assisting qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans, undertaking routine tasks and activities as directed or delegated to facilitate wellbeing, dignity and treatment of patientsOccupational Therapists are matched, wherever possible, to wards that align with their skills, interests, and development goals, ensuring meaningful professional growth whether you are consolidating core skills or looking to broaden your experience across specialist settings.You can find additional information in the attached job description.
