[Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] is looking to recruit a Cleaning Supervisor to join our team. This is a permanent Part Time role working 30 hours per week. *We are happy to discuss your preferences for working days and hours, with shifts typically available between 7am–5pm, Monday to Sunday.*

What you’ll be doing

  • Supervising a team of cleaning staff to deliver high standards across the site
  • Planning and coordinating staff rotas to ensure continuity of service
  • Supporting recruitment, induction, and ongoing development of team members
  • Monitoring cleaning standards and ensuring compliance with health & safety and statutory regulations
  • Managing stock, equipment, and supplies, including ordering and stock control
  • Reporting maintenance issues, damage, or hazards
  • Supporting training and ensuring team compliance with required standards

What you'll bring to the role

  • Good standard of English, with basic numeracy and literacy skills
  • Previous experience in a cleaning role, ideally within a healthcare or similar environment
  • Experience within a hospital/hotel environment together with some supervisory experience
  • Good understanding of health & safety, COSHH, and cleaning standards
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to motivate and support a team positively
  • Reliable, organised, and able to manage workloads effectively
  • Good attention to detail
  • Physical stamina to carry out an active role throughout the day
