What you'll be doing

As a Registered Mental Health Nurse - Nights, you will play a key part in their recovery, assisting qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans, undertaking routine tasks and activities as directed or delegated to facilitate wellbeing, dignity and treatment of patients

  • Accurately observe and engage with patients in order to assess their need and evaluate their progress.
  • Monitor and review Nursing Care plans.
  • Evaluate and respond to changes in patient’s condition and needs.
  • Deal proactively and effectively with suggestions and complaints from patients and their families / carers.
  • Contribute to a team approach to patient care in conjunction with all members of the Multi-Disciplinary team

We are seeking a Qualified Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with 6–12 months of post-registration experience, active NMC registration, and successful completion of a preceptorship programme. The ideal candidate will have a sound knowledge of NMC guidelines, standards, and professional practices, supported by evidence of continued professional development. A positive attitude and a strong commitment to change, improvement, and delivering high-quality care are essential for this role.
