[Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] Hospital Roehampton is looking to recruit a Family Therapist to join the team. This is a full-time/37.5 Hour role. You will be part of a compassionate team who are committed to our patients wellbeing. You will play a key part in their recovery, assisting qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans, undertaking routine tasks and activities as directed or delegated to facilitate wellbeing, dignity and treatment of patients.

What you'll be doing

We take a personalised approach, using proven therapies to help people move forward with confidence and build a healthier, more fulfilling future. You will play a key part in their recovery, assisting qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans, undertaking routine tasks and activities as directed or delegated to facilitate wellbeing, dignity and treatment of patients.

  • Deliver specialist systemic assessments and family therapy interventions for patients and families within eating disorder and general mental health inpatient services.
  • Facilitate single-family sessions, multi-family groups, and carers’ workshops using evidence-based systemic models.
  • Collaborate closely with the multidisciplinary team to contribute to formulation, care planning, risk management, and discharge planning.
  • Provide psychoeducation and therapeutic support to families to enhance understanding, improve communication, and promote recovery-focused outcomes.
  • Maintain professional registration (e.g., UKCP/AFT), uphold high standards of clinical documentation, and contribute to service development and quality improvement initiatives.

What you'll bring to the role

Candidates must hold a recognised postgraduate qualification in Family/Systemic Psychotherapy and be registered or accredited with a relevant professional body such as UKCP or AFT. Demonstrable post-qualification experience working with complex mental health presentations is essential, ideally within eating disorders and/or inpatient services. The successful candidate will show strong systemic formulation skills, confidence in managing risk and safeguarding, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Excellent communication, clinical documentation, and organisational skills are required to deliver high-quality care at [Employer hidden] Hospital Roehampton.
