Job Description:
We are looking for an outstanding Web Design and Development professional to be responsible for the coding, innovative design and layout of our website. Web developer responsibilities include building our website and web applications from concept all the way to completion from the bottom up, fashioning everything from the home page to site layout and function.
Entry Requirements:
- Strong knowledge PHP/MySQL;
- Experience with database development;
- Experience with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery;
- Knowledge of web development best practices, such as security and performance optimization;
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills;
- Strong ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks and projects;
- Good communication and teamwork abilities;
- Experience with unit testing principles and best practices desirable;
Key Responsibilities:
- Write well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices;
- Create website layout/user interface by using standard PHP/HTML/CSS practices;
- Integrate data from various back-end services and databases;
- Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs;
- Develop required application & Systems;
- Create and maintain software documentation;
- Be responsible for maintaining, expanding, and scaling our site;
- Stay plugged into emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them into operations and activities;
- Establishes methods to ensure appropriate website security and recovery;
- Writes and publishes content for the website;
- Tests website interaction and performance prior to going live, and monitors and maintains functionality of the website and relevant applications;
