Veterinary Surgeon

We are RCVS accredited and an approved veterinary nurse training centre. We are a RWAF Silver Rabbit Friendly Clinic and an accredited ISFM Cat Friendly Clinic.

The Role
This is a challenging, yet very rewarding role. You will work closely alongside a talented and dedicated group of professionals who value colleague collaboration, team and individual learning development and exceptional patient care. This is the perfect opportunity to join an experienced, fun, friendly and supportive team.
You will carry out consultations, work up cases, perform general surgery and basic imaging. You will also visit our animal charity partner to undertake veterinary duties there.
Consultation appointments are taken at all 3 of our clinics; these duties are shared between our vets. Appointments are prearranged; with the exception of emergencies. Operations are undertaken at our Torquay surgery only.

About You
You must have an RCVS accredited veterinary degree or have passed the RCVS exam, be RCVS registered and if applicable have an up-to-date record of Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
You must be able to listen carefully and communicate clearly and confidently with a range of people; including clients, colleagues and other veterinary professionals.
The role requires a confident yet empathetic, patient, organised and enthusiastic individual; who is trustworthy and can maintain professional boundaries.
*Flexibility and reliability are key components of this post as well as having a vehicle/full UK driving licence covered by business insurance due to travelling to other branches.*
