Keep the heartbeat of innovation running with this Prototype Test Engineer position and ensure cutting-edge operations never miss a beat!
Responsibilities:
- Assemble, adjust, repair, and upgrade mechanical and electromechanical components.
- Follow technical drawings, instructions, and specifications to build prototypes.
- Use testing tools to measure parameters like temperature, pressure, and electrical outputs.
- Record and analyze test results clearly in notebooks or digital systems.
- Operate data logging tools (training provided).
- Maintain and organize the workshop, ensuring safety and cleanliness.
- Assist in troubleshooting equipment issues and performing maintenance tasks.
- Recommend improvements to product designs and testing methods.
- Support production readiness for new product launches.
- Perform welding tasks and operate workshop tools like lathes and drill presses.
- Use internal systems for documentation and tracking (training provided).
Key Skills and Requirements:
- Hands-on experience in assembly, welding, or similar technical tasks.
- Familiarity with mechanical and electrical principles; basic plumbing knowledge is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and communicate effectively.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Physically capable of lifting up to 20kg and performing tasks requiring precision.
- Adaptable, proactive, and organized with good time management skills.
