Lead the charge in powering clinical innovation through smart, strategic procurement.

[Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] is seeking a Clinical Procurement Manager to play a pivotal role in bridging business needs with effective procurement execution within a dynamic biotech environment. This position focuses on sourcing, supplier management, and operational efficiency for clinical trials.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct market analysis, develop tactical sourcing plans, and lead negotiations for third-party goods and services essential for clinical trials.
  • Execute sourcing strategies, negotiate contracts, and manage suppliers across the clinical development value chain.
  • Translate sourcing strategies into automated buying channels and systems to improve operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align clinical development demands with actionable spend management and sourcing projects.
  • Drive continuous improvement to enhance the customer buying experience and support critical projects.

Key Skills and Requirements:

  • Education: University degree (Business degree preferred).
  • Experience: Proficient level of professional experience in sourcing, contracting, or operational efficiency projects.
  • Clinical Knowledge: Familiarity with Clinical Development and/or Clinical Technologies (e.g., CROs, Imaging, eCOA).
  • Negotiation: Proven capability in negotiating project budgets and contracts.
  • Systems Proficiency: Knowledgeable in procurement systems and operational processes (e.g., Contracting, eSourcing, Spot Buying). Project Management: Demonstrated project management skills.
  • Language: Business-level fluency in English.
