Nurse Educator

Help bring science to life and join a leading pharmaceutical company to play a key role in delivering impactful education that drives healthcare innovation! [Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] is seeking a compassionate and skilled Nurse Educator to provide education and support to healthcare professionals and patients in the effective use of continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) systems. You will play a key role in empowering individuals to manage diabetes confidently while building strong relationships with healthcare teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging training sessions to healthcare professionals and patients, both in-person and virtually.
  • Ensure training materials are up-to-date and aligned with NHS guidelines.
  • Teach patients and caregivers how to use CGM systems, offering tailored support to build confidence in self-care.
  • Provide empathetic, patient-centered guidance to improve diabetes management and overall well-being.
  • Offer technical support and troubleshooting for CGM systems to healthcare professionals and patients.
  • Build strong relationships with healthcare teams, acting as a trusted advisor.
  • Maintain accurate training records and provide feedback to improve processes.

Key Skills and Requirements:

  • Background as a Registered Nurse (current or previous).
  • Experience in diabetes care, ideally as a Diabetes Specialist Nurse or similar role.
  • Skilled in delivering training to diverse audiences, simplifying complex concepts.
  • Strong understanding of diabetes management, including medication, monitoring, and lifestyle interventions.
  • Familiarity with NHS structures and processes in primary and secondary care.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Confident using technology, digital training platforms, and remote learning tools.
  • Willingness to travel regularly, including overnight stays, with a full UK driving license.
