FULL DESCRIPTION

Part Time - Catering Butcher

Location: Market House, Hopkinson Way, Portway Business Park, Andover, Hampshire, SP10 3ZE

Salary: £17-£18.00 per hour

Job Type: Permanent

Schedule: Your working pattern will be 2-3 nights (negotiable) a week between Sunday - Friday working 6.00pm - 3.00am.

The Role:

Your role will be to take orders processed by our sales team and prepare meat accurately to customer requirements. Cut, trim, Debone and portion meat using prep knives and other powered equipment.

DUTIES :

  • Prepare label and date meat to customer requirements and place in appropriate containers and store in proper conditions ready for loading on van when ready.
  • Ensure there is a good stock of prepared meat that is regularly ordered.
  • Keep prep area tidy and safe whilst working.
  • Ensure all target yields are maintained and product is cut to company specification.
  • Clean the prep area at the end of every shift.
  • Make sure all products are stored, correctly batched and kept at right temperature.
  • Keep knives sharp and equipment clean.
