As a Days Warehouse Operative, you'll be a vital part of the operation — ensuring deliveries are received and located correctly and promptly, mainly working in our freezer or chillers. You will also be picking orders with efficiency and meeting deadlines.
Warehouse Operative - Day Shift
Location: Charlton Lane, Midsomer Norton, Radstock Somerset BA34SB
Salary: £TBC
Job Type: Permanent
Schedule: You will be working Monday - Friday, with Saturdays worked on a rotational basis. Shift pattern will be 8.00am - 5.00pm, Saturday shift pattern is subject to change if all work and tasks are completed.

As a Days Warehouse Operative, you'll be a vital part of the operation — ensuring deliveries are received and located correctly and promptly, mainly working in our freezer or chillers. You will also be picking orders with efficiency and meeting deadlines.
What you’ll be doing:
- Moving stock around the warehouse using pump trucks, PPTs and forklifts (training provided.)
- Locating stock to the correct chiller, freezer and ambient location.
- Helping with stock takes and internal audits.
- Receiving and detailing deliveries from suppliers.
- Accurately picking chilled, frozen, and ambient goods for customer orders.
- Keeping workspaces clean, tidy, and safe at all times.
- Supporting your team to ensure daily operations run smoothly and targets are hit.
You will be required to work at height and in cold environments, relevant PPE will be issued.
The Ideal Candidate: We are looking for a candidate with a solid work ethic and a reliable, team-focused attitude.
Physically fit and happy to be on the move throughout your shift.
Comfortable working in chilled and frozen environments (appropriate PPE is provided).
Attention to detail — you know the small things make a big difference to our customers.
