Room Technician (DLRT)

Room Technicians needed to join the [Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] team in the City of London. The role involves maintaining meeting spaces, supporting Reception, Hospitality, and Workplace Services teams, and ensuring an exceptional experience for clients. This is a full-time, permanent role.

Job Introduction

We have exciting openings for Room Technicians to join our dedicated [Employer hidden] team, based at our prestigious client's offices in the City of London. Our Client is a leading firm among the Big Four Accountancy companies. This is an exceptional opportunity to be a vital part of a dynamic environment, delivering outstanding service to clients and guests.

As a Room Technician, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that all meeting spaces are impeccably maintained and set up to meet the highest standards. Your proactive approach and flexibility will be essential in supporting Reception, Hospitality, and Workplace Services teams.

*This is a full-time, permanent role (40 hours per week), working from Monday to Friday.*

Main responsibilities

  • Providing an exceptional experience for clients in the waiting area by preparing, and serving beverages as per their requests
  • Completing detailed weekly and monthly checklists to uphold service excellence and cleanliness
  • Maintaining effective communication with other reception desks, supervisors, and team members to ensure seamless operations
  • Applying expertise with meeting rooms, layouts, and storage, ensuring all areas are organised and equipment is readily available
  • Assisting with the delivery and setup of necessary equipment (i.e., TVs, laptops, and audio/video conferencing tools)
  • Communicating daily updates to the team and foresee when additional support may be required
  • Escalating any issues to the relevant teams/seniors, and following the progress of their resolution
  • Following Health and Safety guidelines while handling and moving equipment, utilising manual handling techniques and tools
  • Arranging furniture and setting up meeting spaces according to specific event requirements, ensuring optimal room availability
