The AV Technician will ensure exceptional service for clients and guests by setting up, operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting audio-visual equipment across meeting rooms and event spaces. This is a hands-on and proactive position that requires a problem-solver who thrives on enhancing efficiencies and the overall business environment.

Main responsibilities

  • Delivering and setting up AV equipment, including portable TVs, laptops, DVD players, and conferencing tools
  • Maintaining multimedia and presentation rooms to ensure optimal functionality
  • Providing on-the-spot support during presentations and hybrid meetings
  • Responding swiftly to emergency requests, assisting with IT-related inquiries, and escalating them when required
  • Conducting daily preventative checks to guarantee all equipment is in top shape
  • Reporting faults promptly, and assisting with first and second-line repairs
  • Building and nurturing positive client relationships while advising on best practices

The ideal candidate will

  • Ideally, have at least one year of previous experience in a similar role
  • Be proactive, process-driven, resourceful with a can-do attitude and excellent communication skills

  • Have the ability to work efficiently under pressure whilst maintaining a positive attitude, independently and as part of a large team
